You may get your visa in London, but it will cost you £66. If you buy it on entry in Turkey it will just cost you £10 paid in one Sterling note; they also accept US$20 or €15. They only want this three types of stable foreign currencies, no Turkish Lira or anything else.

when u get to the turkish airport you will queue with everyone on the plane to go through customs… u will have to pay £10 and you will get your passport stamped with the visa which entitles you to 90 days in turkey.
thats all you have to do… simple!
enjoy your holiday and have an efes beer for me… nicest beer in the world!!
edit: they do accept £10 GBP… but dont give them a £20 note as they wont give you change… i made that mistake once, asked for my change and they said ‘if you dont like it, go home’ lol

Tens of thousands of people from the UK go to Turkey every year.
Just bring your passport, the £10 for the visa/entrance fee
and follow the crowd off the plane.
